An Analysis of Cache Valley Public Opinion Regarding Wind Energy
While this white paper is not the product of Elevate Creative, this Project is where I truly cut my teeth in market research. As the University started looking to take advantage of renewable energy tax breaks to hedge future energy costs, the university president wanted to know what issues would arise in public forums so the university could be prepared to address them.
To accomplish this, my team and I were hired as consultants to the university as part of the Huntsman School of Business field-studies program. Analyzing our timeframe, assets, and limited amount of primary research available on the topic, we determined our most effective methodology was standardized interviews of community thought leaders.
The compiled white paper below leverages secondary research to establish justification for the wind project and primary research to address local concerns that would arise if the project moved forward.
